Call Before You Dig!
Contractors and homeowners are required by law to call 811 at least two days before digging to have local utilities mark underground lines.
Information for Developers
Per the Water Rights Dedication Ordinance adopted on July 25, 2005 by the Moapa Valley Water District Board of Directors, anyone subdividing a lot must either bring water to the table or purchase water through the “Water Resource” fund. System Flow Capacities

This form gives you the number of fire hydrants within 500' of your parcel boundaries and the water distribution system flow capacilites for the general area of your parcel. This is described by a static pressure (Pstatic) and a calculated flow at 20 psi (Q@20 psi). These paramaters along with the dwelling size provide the Clark County Fire Department with necessary information to make its decision on what you will have to do to meet CCFD's requirement for fire surpression. The Moapa Valley Water District does not have fire surpression requiremements as a condition of service.

Construction Permit

This form must be completed by contractor and signed by District Staff before work can be done. You must also meet with District Staff to go over the permit.

Reimbursement Area

The District may extend or permit to expand its distribution system through water main extensions, hydrant installations, etc. to property owners or developers. Property owners or developers shall pay for the total cost of the expansion. The property owner or developer shall have the right to establish a reimbursement area (RA) to compensate them for portions of the cost of the expansion.
Request for Inspection

This form must be completed in order for an inspection of a contruction project to be scheduled. It could take up to 48 hours before an inspection can be done.
